How to Request a Prescription Refill

For non-narcotic medications, the best way to request a refill is during your scheduled office visit or treatment. When you come in, please bring:

• The medication container that needs refilling
• Your pharmacy’s contact information

If an in-person visit isn’t possible, you may call our office during business hours to request a refill. Please allow up to 24 business hours for your request to be processed.

Tips for Smooth Refills:

• Keep a running list of all your medications and doses
• Refill prescriptions before you run out to prevent gaps in your treatment
• Have your pharmacy number ready when you call

Preparing for Your Refill

Being proactive can make refills easier and reduce stress:

• Bring all current medications to every appointment
• Keep a personal medication calendar or app
• Ask questions if your medication schedule changes or if you experience side effects
