What Patients Say About Dr. Rabinowitz
Quick, efficient, and thorough introductory visit with Max to review the current situation and suggest recommended courses of action. – Matt L
I Google Alaska oncology all the time in order to call them and it baffles me that their rating is so low. I guess cancer can cause high emotions and only people who are upset usually leave reviews- or grieving. There are some reviews saying that people couldn’t get in etc. my experience with them is a blur from the beginning because I was in a state of complete shock, but immediately upon finding out that I may have cancer, Dr Robinowitz saw me. I believe it was the same day or the day after I found out. There was absolutely no wait. Granted, my doctors who knew I was in a complete state of shock may have helped that happen, but he was still there when I needed him. He calmed me down, assured me that even if it’s cancer I should be okay and explained how he could take care of it. I left his office having feelings of hope and relief and knew I was in good hands. It was clear he was very intelligent and knew how to care for my situation. He’s gentle natured and made for this difficult position. I haven’t had any billing issues with my insurance and the office staff has always gotten back with me. Julia, the medical assistant, is at the top of her game and makes sure the doctor has all records, images and reports needed to review before appointments and is one of the best assets to this team as well. She is fantastic. I haven’t seen any other doctors in the practice, but Dr Robinowitz (I’m probably spelling it wrong sorry), is fantastic and I couldn’t see myself going to anyone else.
Dr. Rabinowitz was great and very personal. He explained things well.
Dr. Rabinowitz is a very caring Dr. he takes as much time as you need to understand your diagnosis and treatment. He teams up with you and allows you to make decisions based on the information he and other doctors have given you. He is pretty conservative in his decision making but doesn’t pressure you to be the same.
